Armed with a camera, a green thumb, and a penchant for whistling, Lauren Bishop is a photographer and book artist based in Lilburn, GA.  She constantly explores themes of liminality, surrealism in the mundane, and the subjectivity of memory — seeking to exalt the ordinary to the level of myth.

By day, Lauren is an official staff photographer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA, documenting its people, its history, and its crucial scientific / public health work.
